05/17/2011	How To Delete a Property	We have enhanced the property manager portal allowing you or your employees to delete properties that need to be removed from your system as long as the property does not have rental units that have leases assigned or monetary transactions. A simple delete button now appears on the property profile page. If clicked, a second warning message to validate that you really want to delete the property is presented. If you accept the second warning, the system will attempt to delete the property and all of its associated rental units. If there are any leases or transactions affiliated with any of the rental units belonging to the property the delete will fail and present the reason. Since the owner is considered a viable sales contact the owner information is maintained. If you want to delete the owner contact you can do that using the owner profiles page.
